Listen: A Swarm of the Sun – Deliver Us From Our Dreams

If you follow Arctic Drones, you know just how much we love post-rock. And if you’re familiar with our publications and the bands we love to feature, then you surely know A Swarm of The Sun. The Swedish duo was featured on AD earlier this year where they talked about their new album The Rifts, the Swedish music scene, finding the inspirations to record always more interesting music, and pushing the boundaries of instrumental rock.

Well, with this new release it seems the band have really just done that. Titled “Deliver Us From Our Dreams”, the track was originally intended to be part of the new record, but was eventually cut off. Now, it sees new light under the EZDrummer project “II Drum Production Tools”. Produced by Birgir Jón Birgisson of Sigur Rós, the project is soon to be feature in EZX-expansion for EZDrummer later this year. The song has been stripped down of much of its original 10-minute length-span but thanks a new mixing by Karl Daniel Lidén, it is still intense, as it is short.

Listen to “Deliver Us From Our Dreams” below and get ready to be delivered some amazing, “dreamy” post-rock.
